Tariffs for River City Moving and Delivery

Residential Moves: $80/hr. includes 2 men and a 24’ truck with a lift.

Each additional man required is $25/hr. (example: 3 men=$105/hr., 4 men= $130/hr.)

Commercial Moves: $80/hr. includes 2 men and a 24’ truck with a lift.

Each additional man required is $25/ hr.

Additional Moving Services: $80/hr. with the truck and $65/hr. without the truck.

Retail Delivery Rates: $65 for the first piece and $10 for each additional piece. Each piece over 300 pounds incurs a .10/lb charge (example: a 400 lbs refrigerator would cost an extra $10 to be delivered)

Commercial Driving Charges: 24’ straight truck is $2.50/mile round trip (example: Muscatine to Iowa City is 80 miles round trip. Cost would be $200.00) Note: we use MapQuest to figure address to address.

Cargo van is $1.25/mile round trip.

Household Driving Charges: Moves originating from Muscatine up to 30 miles round trip are charged a flat per/hr. charge. Moves over 30 miles are charged per mile and hourly rate for loading and unloading only, and $2.50 per mile round trip. (Example: 2 guys 3hrs. to load and 2 hrs. to unload =5 hrs. labor=$400 60 miles round trip = $150.00 drive charge. Total bill would be $550.00). The hourly rate does not apply while driving if move is over 25 miles round trip.

Moves not originating in Muscatine are charged a $50.00 drive charge up to 30 miles round trip.
